Spectator Policies for Athletic Events (both on-campus and away)

At the Candor Central School District (CCSD), our student-athletes are expected to be respectful, maintain a positive attitude, model good sportsmanship and be disciplined in their behavior. We expect the same from spectators.

If, at any point during a home OR an away contest, a spectator exhibits an inappropriate behavior deemed so by a school official or contest official, the following consequences will be imposed:

  • Spectator is verbally warned about behavior by school or contest official.

  • Spectator receives second warning about behavior by school or contest official.

  • Spectator is removed from the contest by school or contest official.

  • A written warning will be sent to the spectator. Additionally, the spectator will have a mandatory meeting with the Athletic Director prior to the spectator being able to attend the next athletic contest.

  • A second written warning will be sent to the spectator notifying them of a one (1) year suspension from all athletic events.

  • Spectator will have attendance privileges revoked for a period of five (5) years from ALL athletic events.
