Reminder – Adults Must Be Present at Drop-Off

For students in grades PK–6, an adult must be visibly present during afternoon drop-off. Our drivers are instructed not to discharge students unless an adult is seen in the driveway, doorway, or clearly visible from the bus. This applies to private residences as well as daycare providers. If no adult is present, your child may be returned to the school or the bus garage for pickup. Your cooperation helps us keep every student safe.

Seatbelts on Buses

As part of our continued commitment to student safety, all new buses are now equipped with 3-point harness seatbelts. All students riding these buses will be required to wear seatbelts.

Be Ready 5 Minutes Early

Please have your child ready and waiting five minutes before their scheduled pickup time. Road conditions, traffic, or other variables can cause the bus to run slightly early or late. In many areas, buses cannot idle or wait, so being ready helps avoid missed pickups and keeps routes running smoothly.

Reporting Student Absences

If your child will be absent, please email us at transportation@candorcs.org as soon as possible. This allows us to adjust our routes in real time and avoid unnecessary stops, improving efficiency for everyone.
