Hello Candor Families,
Starting next week, we will begin administering the New York State Tests for grades 3-8.
Dates for testing:
April 16 & 17: ELA
April 30 & May 1: Math
May 14: Science for 8th grade ONLY
The ELA test for grades 7 and 8 seeks to measure reading comprehension, along with writing proficiency using writing prompts that are dependent upon selections of passages.
Students will need to bring their fully charged Chromebooks to school on Tuesday, April 16 and Wednesday, April 17, along with the books they are reading for English.
